Dog Walking

dogwalk2Your dog is collected from your home and taken for a walk lasting at least 60 minutes – if your dog is well socialised and responds well to us, we prefer to walk off leash.

It is as important for dogs to socialise as to get their daily exercise and we therefore always aim to walk in groups, usually of no more than 6 dogs.

We will initially walk your dog on leash until we are happy that the dog responds to our commands.

We are also happy to walk dogs individually, if requested. We can tailor our walks to suit your dogs:

  • We can arrange dog walks just with small dogs, under 10kgs
  • We can arrange gentler walks for older dogs, or dogs recovering from injuries, making sure they are comfortably transported to an area suitable for their needs.

After the walk we will deliver your doggie home and if you would like we will ensure that there is fresh water available and that the dog is settled.

Dogs return home happy and hopefully sleepy, tails wagging, ready for a snooze after having a wonderful time out.

Before we agree to walk your doggie

We meet you and your pooch, in your home to discuss your preferences and our guidelines.

Where we walk

Kommetjie Beach, Noordhoek Beach, Simon's Town, Fish Hoek sports field and surrounding areas, Silvermine Pass, Constantia Nek, Tokai Forest, Newlands Forest, Constantia Green Belt and Keurboom Park.

The rules

We do insist on meeting all owners before we will take their dogs out – to make sure we understand any quirks or peculiarities the doggie may have, and for the owners to feel comfortable with us.

We only accept friendly well adjusted dogs who are well socialised. If your dog is not well socialised, we can arrange one-on-one walks with special attention given to socialising the dog.

All female dogs over 6 months must be sterilised.
